The beaches north of La Serena
Finally, a well deserved beach break! Moving north from La Serena to northern Chile, one encounters some fine beaches, although the ocean water can be quite cold at times!

We saw this incredible cemetery of miners who worked in a nearby mine, and the famous hand in the desert... the other hand is in Punta del Este, Uruguay...
