North Peru

In the north of Peru I'm getting closer and closer to the equator, the sun is hotter every day and sunny beaches and surfers are everywhere, along with remaining of ancient pre Inca civilisations...

Lima

I really liked Lima. although the colonial centre is a bit run down, the beautiful ocean-side Miraflores quarter offers modern bars and restaurants and a fantastic walk along the ocean... and food is simply amazing!

Macchu Picchu, the Inca valley and Cusco

This is certainly the most famous tourist attraction in the whole South America... tucked at the eastern end of the andes, just where the mighty amazon starts, the sacred valley of the Incas comprises a large area from Cusco, the ancient Inca capital, to a number of small towns in the valley, to the Macchu Picchu ruins, hidden in the mountains

Ollantaytambo

A small mountain town in the valley, Olla is a nice place to spend the night surrounded by the peace of the Andes, and with beautiful ruins too
